We are the closet B & B to the White Heather and Hemswell Court function rooms, by miles, being just a short walk or very short drive from us and taxis can be arranged if required. We work closely with the management of these venues to ensure that you enjoy the continuity of high standards, which encouraged you to select them for your very important day.
Please note that for the comfort of all guests, we close at 00.30. If you require late entry please discuss this with us, in advance.
Hemswell Antiques is one of the largest antique centres in Europe and is just 1 mile away with a massive selection of quality antiques, well worth a visit and there is a nice cafeteria in Building No.1 so you can spend all day there.
The Lincolnshire County Showground is a few minutes drive south on the A15 where special events are held throughout the year. We are a recommended B&B provider for guests visiting the showground and our grounds are large enough to park horse trailers-boxes, caravans or mobile homes in and we are very dog friendly.
RAF Scampton is even closer and is the home of The Red Arrows who sometimes practise their displays overhead. News just released confirms the remaking of The Dam Busters film is to be made at Scampton which was where 617 Squadron was based and where the original film was made. |
