A Liar, Thief and Failed Extortionist.

 

Williamson supplied a ride on mower which was unsatisfactory and he promised to adjust it.  On arrival he claimed falsely that payment had not been cleared and took the mower, refusing to provide a receipt or refund.  He then claimed it had been damaged and abused and he would deduct an undisclosed amount from the payment, which had cleared before he removed the mower, in an effort to extort money.  Photographic evidence together with County Court Claims totalling £1712.80 were issued, accepted and paid in full by Williamson without any defence or counter claim.  Shop elsewhere, this gentleman is not to be trusted.

Stopped a cheque for £15.  Requests to rectify the situation were ignored so a summons was issued for £58.80, including fees and costs.  Payment was settled in full without any defence or counter claim.

Absconded after 4 nights without paying which is why we now insist on payment on arrival.  Photographic, fingerprint and DNA evidence helped police arrest him and there were several other outstanding offences throughout the country.  Given his “list of previous as long as your arm” a long custodial sentence is expected.

 

Flight Lieutenant James Lee - Royal Air Force.  

He was unable to settle his bill in full following a wedding at which he was part of the guard of honour, and promised to send a cheque.  Being an RAF officer we trusted him!   He then refused to settle his account.  He never denied his debt despite several formal complaints to senior officers, which  were rejected “it is a civilian matter - exempt from Small Claims Court due to military privilege”  Flt Lt James Lee is a liar and a cheat and he claimed to have instructed solicitors to deal with the matter, another lie!  In accordance with our terms the principal guest (the bride’s mother) was  reluctantly asked to discharge his debt, which she did immediately.  Flt Lt James Lee evaded his debt to us but at what cost to his integrity.  An Officer, but no gentleman!

No Show!  Claimed ignorance, incompetence, poverty, hardship, illness etc etc and to be outside English Small Claims Court jurisdiction!  The Scottish Sheriffs Court found her to be in breach of contract,  ordering her to make settlement, although I had to attend court in Perth which is why  full payment in advance is now required from anyone living outside England.

Abysmal Bodger Builder.  Incompetent & Slovenly.  Kicked out before completion of the project as his workmanship and reliability were dreadful.  Unconditionally accepted our reduced offer of payment to avoid our diary of events and photographic evidence of his shambolic efforts.

We all make mistakes and have problems, it’s how we deal with them that is important.   Those who abuse us, our hospitality or our home will be named and shamed.    By deterring those who misbehave, we hope to encourage decent folk to stay with us.
