We have been training dogs, and more importantly their owners, for years and have successfully rehabilitated many lost causes.
We aim to show you how to enjoy and trust your dog, which comes from understanding how your dog reacts to various situations.
We show you how to use your voice to train your dog instead of treats, clickers - whistles - harnesses etc, which if lost you have no control of your dog. We don’t whack dogs because we know that removal of love is more effective than pain or fear,
We hold general socialisation and obedience group classes on Saturdays (11.30 - 12.30, weather permitting) where you and your dog can join other “reformed characters”. These small classes cost just £5 each and you do not book or pay for lessons in advance. Most of our reformed characters no longer pay because they have done their apprenticeship, and just keep coming because they and their dogs enjoy it. They demonstrate what can be achieved and will gladly work with you because they remember their own problem days.
For those requiring 1 to 1 assessment or training we offer hourly sessions throughout the week for £25 per hour. We will assess your dog and work with you to overcome problems and we can show you how to desensitise your dog and to identify potential problems, before they become bad reactions.
Training comes from you! We will help you to take control of your dog and provide it with the support and respect it would get from being part of a pack - you are the pack leader and the dog needs to find it’s place in your pack.
All visiting dogs must be fully vaccinated and free of any infection. |
